The temperature equalizer switch controls the fan, which is mounted on top of the evaporator plate. It is designed to keep air moving throughout the cabinet in order to maintain a consistent temperature between its upper and lower half.
- Auto: During normal operation, set the switch to the “Auto” position. The fan will operate whenever the cooling system is running.
- Continuous: This feature runs the fan continuously.
- Off: Shuts off the fan.
Do not become overly concerned about air temperature variations. Remember, the unit measures liquid temperature, not air temperature. The unit will operate when the liquid temperature varies.
